Sheffield MedSex was setup in Spring 2006 to provide support and assistance to schools in the local Sheffield area by teaching sex education. This move was made when four medical students attended the National Conference in Newcastle.

Sexpression: UK is the national body that represents and supports the branches setup within the Universities across the country. There are also similar groups existing across the world.
